Ava Everett vs Kellie Morga

Two ascending talents square off with Kellie catching Ava a little off guard in the initial exchange, capitalizing with an Abdominal Stretch with her height giving her an advantage. Not to be outdone Ava soon applies an Abdominal Stretch of her own but Kellie’s height mitigates her effectiveness leaving Ava frustrated. Everett continues to struggle with the lanky youngster as Morga’s height “embarrasses” Ava as she can’t seem to quite get the leverage she needs to make her holds really work. A valiant attempt at a Pendulum again doesn’t quite work out leaving an exasperated Ava to settle for a Camel Clutch. Her confidence returns only until Kellie turns the tables and after a Backbreaker she one ups Ava with a Camel Clutch of her own. Grueling Rowboats are exchanged as momentum shifts yet again, Ava still searching for a move she can really lock in without Morga’s height confounding her. A poorly chosen submission leads to a big counter and a grueling combo hold that will finally give one grappler bragging rights, at least for now.
