It's golden crisp on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth on the inside. The name Mozzarella in Carrozza in Italian means "mozzarella in a carriage", because the strands of melted mozzarella that pull from the sandwich resemble the reins of a horse and carriage. This is an Italian snack that everyone would absolutely love! Delicious gooey mozzarella cheese in every bite! MOZZARELLA IN CARROZZA (Mozzarella in Carriage) Serves 3 INGREDIENTS 6 slices of White Sandwich Bread 6 oz (170g) Low Moisture Mozzarella (you can also use Fresh Mozzarella but make sure to pat it dry) 6 slices Prosciutto Cotto 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour 3 Large Eggs, beaten 1 1/2 cups Breadcrumbs (Plain, Panko, or Italian Seasoned, your pick!)
